The BLACKFORESTLINE can be entered until half an hour before closing time.

Risk of Forest Fire

Mainly in the months of summer there is a risk of forest fires. Increased safety regulations apply.

Wheelchairs

We want to make your visit of the BLACKFORESTLINE as pleasant and safe as possible. Please register in the visitors‘ centre ahead of your visit.

Groups

Group tickets are available only after prior registration. Here you can find the registration form for groups.

Dogs

Bringing dogs with you is permitted. However, dogs have to be on a leash with a maximum length of one metre. For further information have a look at our FAQ.

Pushchairs

We would also like to make it possible for wheelchair users / baby carriages to visit flexibly on a daily basis and not just on special days or at certain times. However, access for wheelchair users and baby carriages is only possible at the WEST bridgehead (at the visitor center) and only during the opening hours of the visitor center. The staff on site will allow wheelchair users / baby carriages to enter the bridge through a separate entrance and only exit on the same side. The number of wheelchair users / baby carriages is limited, which can result in short waiting times. The maximum width for baby carriages is 60 cm. Other vehicles such as handcarts, Thule bicycle trailers, tricycles, balance bikes… are not permitted.
